Early stage start-ups, innovators and tech entrepreneurs are invited to apply for Pitchfest, a pitching competition run as part of South West Innovation Expo on 14th October 2021 at Sandy Park, Exeter. Successful applicants will have the chance to present their start-up or innovation to an audience of investors, business leaders and other entrepreneurs.

Pitchfest offers start-up companies 5-minute slots to present their business as well as a free exhibition stand providing them with additional opportunities to meet and network with SW Innovation Expo delegates.

All applicants to Pitchfest will be invited to take part in a virtual investor readiness training day with training sessions from SETsquared, MAINStream and the Universities of Plymouth and Falmouth. Only 15 will be selected from the training day to go through to Pitchfest on 14th October. Applications for Pitchfest can be made here.

Ben Voysey, SETSquared says, “Pitchfest is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to a room full of people who can help it to grow. Ideally, we are looking for businesses that are expecting growth through investment in the near future. The training given to all applicants will provide valuable support and an opportunity to learn from each other as well as the experts.”
