Sally Walters
As an Operations Director at Stantec, I lead and manage the delivery of high-quality engineering projects for clients in the water industry. With over 18 years of experience in civil engineering, water and wastewater engineering, and asset management, I have a track record of successfully coordinating and executing complex and challenging projects across different sectors and regions.
I am passionate about developing and empowering the next generation of engineers, as well as contributing to the advancement and recognition of the profession. I am a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), and a Member of the Institute of Water (MIWater). I also serve as a Mentor, a Supervising Civil Engineer, and a Delegated Engineer for the ICE, as well as a Member of the ICE Council, the ICE Water & Sanitation Community Advisory Board, and the ICE South West Committee. In 2023, I was honored to be a finalist for the Top 50 Women in Engineering award, focusing on safety and security.
